The Only Constant in Life is Change

The only constant in life is change. We see change through the lives of our clients and their experiences. At NWCOVNA, our goal is to inspire healthier lives by providing education, support and resources that help people make positive changes in their behaviors and environment. As an organization, we work with people across the entire span of life: from prenatal to end of life care. People come to us from all income levels and cultural experiences throughout Northwest Colorado.

Together with you, we have been able to build a system of care focusing on access to health care and wellness services for everyone in our community. We are proud to partner with a broad array of community providers and in 2011 were honored to have the Northwest Colorado Community Health Partnership, a NWCOVNA-led initiative, receive the inaugural Colorado Collaboration Award.

Our nation faces the daunting task of developing a sustainable health care system. In the midst of this change, NWCOVNA is improving the health of those who live here, bettering the experience of care, and reducing per capita costs of health care.

I invite you to watch our client stories on our website. Each one takes you on a journey of positive growth, transformation and improvement in health. These stories, along with our newly released Annual Report, guides to our programs and ways to support our mission, are available at www.blog.northwestcoloradohealth.org. I encourage you to contact us to find out how you and your family can live your healthiest lives.

We invite you to join us for our upcoming Annual Meeting and Summer Picnic celebration on Wednesday, August 29th at 5:30 p.m. at The Haven Community Center to learn more about our organization and meet and celebrate with our dedicated employees, board members and their families.

Sincerely,
Lisa Brown
CEO, Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association
