Thank you for supporting the Craig Rubber Ducky Race

Another successful Rubber Ducky Race is in the books! We’re grateful to the Craig community for supporting this event, held Aug. 26 as a fundraiser for our Hospice program. It’s a joy every year to see families and residents follow the rubber duckies’ down the Yampa River to the finish line. Thank you to everyone who participated and to organizations, including Craig Fire Rescue, Boys and Girls Club of Craig, Connections 4 Kids, Grand Futures Prevention Coalition and Classic Air Medical, for making the day extra fun and special. Thank you also to Tim Hurst for providing music and Law Dawgs for having food available in the park.

The community aspect of the Rubber Ducky Race reflects the heart-felt spirit of Hospice, which cared for 88 terminally ill patients in Northwest Colorado last year while also providing grief support and other assistance to their families. Without the compassionate caring support of Craig residents, businesses and volunteers, this important fundraiser would not be possible. Thank you Craig for making our third annual Rubber Ducky Race a success. We’re looking forward to next year.

Sincerely,

Lisa Brown, CEO Northwest Colorado Health
