Thank you for supporting the Steamboat Rubber Ducky Race

This year we learned that, while we cannot always count on Mother Nature, we can rely on Routt County residents and businesses to support Hospice. Due to low water in the Yampa River, we held the Rubber Ducky Race at the Old Town Hot Springs. It was a beautiful day, and many families had the opportunity to enjoy a day at the pool with the added bonus of our unique rubber ducky event. The squeals of delight as duckies popped out the water slides were priceless. Thank you to the Old Town Hot Springs for making this option available and for your staffs’ assistance in making it run smoothly.

We are grateful for everyone who purchased tickets, sponsored the race and volunteered to help bring the pieces together. Your support reflects the kindness and generosity of a community that understands the importance of Hospice and the compassionate end-of-life services we provide. Our skilled and dedicated Hospice staff travel to far reaches of Northwest Colorado to care for all terminally ill patients who need us. Donations and fundraisers like the Rubber Ducky Race ensure we can provide the best care while supporting and assisting caregivers and families. Thanks Routt County for another successful Rubber Ducky Race.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Einfeld, CEO Northwest Colorado Health
