Northwest Colorado Health welcomes Amanda Arnold as Chief Operating Officer

Northwest Colorado Health is pleased to welcome Amanda Arnold, MHA, as its new Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Ms. Arnold plans, directs, and monitors the operational functions of the agency and develops and implements an agency-wide framework to support ongoing continuous performance improvement and quality assurance. She is also a trusted member of the Executive Team and contributes to leading the organization to its strategic goals and objectives. Prior to beginning at Northwest Colorado Health as the Senior Director of Quality and Human Resources in 2018, she was the Executive Director of Moffat County United Way. She has served on multiple non-profit boards and was the Northwest Colorado Rural Philanthropy Days Co-Chair in 2017. Ms. Arnold received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management from the University of Colorado in 2004. In 2016 she completed the Community Resource Center’s Nonprofit Leadership & Management Program. In addition, in 2020 Ms. Arnold obtained her Master of Healthcare Administration degree. Amanda was born and raised in Craig and is very involved in the local community along with her husband and two children. Since 1964, Northwest Colorado Health has supported community wellness through a range of high-quality health programs and services helping residents of all ages, income levels and cultures live as healthy as possible, including people who have been economically and socially marginalized and underserved. As the safety net provider for health services in Northwest Colorado, the organization provides comprehensive, integrated services to those in need regardless of their ability to pay, serving roughly 30% of the regional population each year and employing more than 150 staff members.
