From spending time with Hospice patients to landscaping at the Rollingstone Respite House, our volunteers do so much. We are thankful for your kindness and compassion and the many hours you devote to our Hospice patients and families. You dedicate weekends assisting with our fundraising events, share activities with seniors at The Haven Assisted Living Facility and give your time at our offices and facilities when we need a hand. We would not be able to paint our communities in Hospice Daffodils in the spring or fill the Yampa River with Rubber Duckies in the fall without your hard work and helping hearts. You make a difference in the lives of many families, youth and seniors, and we are grateful.
Our volunteers often say volunteering with Hospice patients and helping out in other ways brighten their days and help them through challenges in their own lives. Volunteering can ease stress and guide our energies toward the spirit of giving. It’s also an opportunity to learn new skills, gain professional experience and connect with others working toward a common goal. If you value an organization in our community or have a desire to help those they serve, consider volunteering. Every bit of time strengthens important community resources and contributes to the overall health of our communities.
