Thank you for supporting the Rubber Ducky Race for Hospice

We are so grateful for the many individuals and businesses that made Northwest Colorado Health’s annual Steamboat Springs Rubber Ducky Race for Hospice a success. Despite a chilly evening, we had a great crowd cheering on the ducks as they raced down the waterslides at Old Town Hot Springs. Even a few sponsors took on the waterslide to start the fun!
Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, sponsored the race, donated prizes and volunteered so that we can continue to provide access to Hospice for anyone in Routt County who needs it.. We are especially thankful to our wonderful partner, Old Town Hot Springs, for allowing us to use their facility.
The support we received is a testament to our community’s commitment to Hospice, and the understanding of how important it is that everyone with a terminal illness has the right to live with dignity and comfort. Every year, our Home Services team drives more than 100,000 miles to care for over 300 patients of all ages with more than 10,000 visits. We serve everyone, regardless of ability to pay—but this commitment comes at a cost of nearly $1 million in unreimbursed care each year. That’s why we are launching a three-year campaign to raise $3 million to sustain these vital services. Please join us in this important effort. Together, we can make sure that people who live here, can stay here.
In gratitude,
